Project #2 Identity/Citizenship/Community
Material: Sewed Fabric Garments Size: L: 11.5" W: 10.75" H: 10" D: 12" - The style for this sewed hat was loosely based on my race and ethnicity background but it slowly transformed into a beanie that I tied back to skater culture. The colors are meant to be a clash between 'edginess' and 'playfulness' like the common trope for skaters. I kept the design fairly straightforward since this was my first time using a sewing machine for a project.
